V Day

Weight: 14.7 lbs (yup, you read that correctly)
Length: 24 1/4 inches

Today has been looming for a while, Ashley's two-month check up, the day when she starts her first round of massive amounts of vaccinations. The doctor and many friends and family have helped put me at ease with our decision to vaccinate. The risks of not being vaccinated seem more scary these days. Thankfully Todd was able to join us as I was not sure I could bear seeing her poked three times in her little thighs.

First thing was weighing her, was a little nervous about this, thought they were going to tell us she had to go on a diet. They did tell us we have a big girl, she has gained just about three lbs this month. She is in the 97th percentile for height and over that for weight. We make them big here in California. But seriously, the doctor isn't worried and things will probably level out when she is a little older or we are going to start entering her in the strong man (woman) competition!

Hoping for no side effects from the vaccinations, fingers crossed...
