The weekend of April 24, Todd surprised me with a weekend away for a "babymoon" / anniversary surprise. I usually figure out surprises, but I had no idea where he was taking me, I figured it wasn't Hawaii or Tahiti since I am not supposed to travel. We drove South for about two hours right by Monterey and started down the Pacific Coast Highway. We were about to pass the Highlands Inn (in Carmel) when I said, wow that place is so nice, I've always wanted to stay there and there is where we stayed.
We had a wonderful time exploring Carmel, Point Lobos and just relaxing. It was so nice to get away and spend some time together before things get really hectic.
